IFMSA is delighted to invite you to take an active role in AMEEMR Conference 2015!

AMEEMR (Association for Medical Education in the Eastern Mediterranean Region) is one of 6 regional members of the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME), and one of the most important organizations for Medical Education in the EMR. AMEEMR will hold an international medical education conference with workshops, lectures, presentations and more

For the first time ever, IFMSA and AMEEMR will offer 25 international medical students the chance to attend the conference for free, with financial support for travel and accommodation. In exchange for that, these students are asked to assist in basic tasks, related to helping out with practical issues and assisting participants during the conference.

This amazing opportunity gives medical students the chance to participate in this conference, learn from wonderful professors and leaders of medical education in the region and in the world.

The meeting will be from March 20th – 24th, Sharm El Seikh, Egypt. However the first working day of the Students’ Taskforce will be March 19th.

Application for the Student taskforce is opened to any Medical Student and if you are a medical student with the right motivation and enthusiasm for working in an international team of students, if you have a certain interest and/or background on medical education, if you have sufficient English skills and total respect for the rules and responsibilities of the Students’ Task Force then we urge you to use this opportunity and apply.

People from any country can apply and we will try to have students from different regions of the world. However, bear in mind that AMEEMR will only be able to support you with a maximum of 200 Euros for your flight expenses.

If you are a medical student from Egypt, don’t fill out this application, there will be a call from IFMSA-Egypt for the local student taskforce.
